A Bright, Open Kitchen Remodel in Westerville, Ohio
This kitchen already had plenty of space, but a few key design choices kept it from reaching its full potential. By opening up the room, rethinking underused areas, and updating the finishes, we created a kitchen that feels brighter, more connected, and made for gathering.
The Challenge
Cabinetry separated the kitchen from the dining area, while an oversized desk took up valuable space.
The Plan
We removed the dividing cabinetry, replaced the desk with a wine and beverage center, and added a larger island for seating and gathering.
The Transformation
Light finishes brighten the room, while the dark island and wine center add warmth and contrast. The kitchen now feels open and connected.
The SMART Remodel
We kept the overall layout of the original kitchen. Focusing on the elements that mattered most created a more functional space without changing everything.
Keeping the Character: A Circleville Bathroom Remodel
Not every remodel needs to start from scratch. This Circleville bathroom had beautiful woodwork and features worth keeping, so we focused on updating the surfaces around them for a brighter, easier-to-maintain space.

This spacious bathroom had beautiful woodwork and plenty of character, but some of the surfaces were ready for an update and easier maintenance.
The Plan
Rather than replace everything, we kept the original wood vanity, built-ins, and jetted tub while updating the shower, vanity top, flooring, and tub surround.
The Transformation
Fresh, lighter finishes brighten the room while allowing the original woodwork to remain a defining feature of the space.
The SMART Remodel
A new, easy-to-clean tub deck and updated surfaces gave this bathroom a fresh start without removing the features that were already worth keeping.
